About This Competition

Save the date — the Shooting Star Baton Competition returns to Edwardsville, Illinois on Saturday, April 24, 2027, hosted by Momentum Baton Twirling at the Sam M. Vadalabene Center on the SIUE campus, roughly 30 minutes from St. Louis. The competition is open to twirlers from all organizations; in 2026 it ran non-sanctioned under NBTA rules, with divisions comparable to AAU and Twirling Unlimited events. Entry information is expected in 2027.

This is an independently organized baton twirling competition, open to all twirlers regardless of organizational affiliation. No membership required.
