The 2028 State Games of America will be held in Colorado Springs, Colorado, hosted by the Rocky Mountain State Games and the Colorado Springs Sports Corporation. Baton twirling debuted as a State Games of America sport in 2026 and is planned for the 2028 program. Athletes qualify by earning a medal in their home state's State Games in the two years leading up to the event. Baton twirling competition dates, venue, and entry details have not yet been announced.
