About This Competition
The NJ State Baton Council's USTA Holiday Contest at Bloomfield Middle School. Compulsory and movement technique evaluations run $10 (C–B2) or $15 (A–Elite), with Elite short program at $15. Foundation events (Basic Strut, Military Strut, Parade March, Presentation) at Novice through Advanced are $8 each and follow evaluations. Preseason critiques are $10 per event across strut, artistic twirl, solo, duet, 2- and 3-baton, freestyle, and more, with partial routines welcome. Teams of 4–8 are $15 and 9 or more are $30, plus a $20 organizational fee. Individuals pay a $10 registration fee. Free events include a parent basic march, a coloring contest, and an ugly sweater contest. Athletes must bring their record card or achievement book. Entries are due November 18, 2026; mail fees with the signed waiver.
